EasyMile’s training is designed to be efficient and ensure the right level of know-how. This involves not only understanding the operation of the vehicle but also, to a certain extent, the vehicle itself. We make sure service attendants can follow safety rules, and have a good understanding of the vehicle which they can also share with users.
Training is key
Training is a key component of EasyMile’s deployment processes. Our training team has developed multiple training courses in order for our partners to be reliable and independent in safely deploying, operating, and maintaining autonomous vehicles with our software onboard. It also allows effective communication with passengers.
We have delivered training for nearly 1000 people around the world. All training modules are well-documented and trainees are audited regularly to ensure quality benchmarks are always met. To fit with all situations and requisites, we also developed online training to allow trainees to go at their own pace and maximize their success.
We train certified service attendants
All trainees receive an EasyMile certificate allowing them to perform certain tasks with our solutions, like operating or maintaining their autonomous vehicles.
A full warranty and support from the EasyMile teams is provided to users who have attended an EasyMile training program. Our programs provide the required level of knowledge and a valid certificate.
EasyMile’s training is divided into four programs:
- Operations Program
This training provides a different level of understanding of our technologies. It will allow customers to apprehend all operation tasks serenely. In order to give flexibility to our customers, we can also provide a Train-The-Trainer program which enables our customers to train their own operators.
- Supervision Program
The supervision program allows our customers to use our traffic management tool to supervise, coordinate, and monitor their fleet during service.
- Deployment Program
With this program, we enable our partners to perform their vehicle setups with different levels of complexity. Customers will know how to program the shuttle with our software.
- Maintenance Program
With this program, we enable our partners to perform their vehicle setups with different levels of complexity. Customers will know how to program the shuttle with our software.
Each program involves different levels of training and contains specific content depending on the training outcome.
