USA – 21 June 2018 – First Transit, EasyMile’s transit agency partner in the state of California, will be partnering with Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA) to pilot the first operation of a shared autonomous vehicle (SAV) on a public road by a transit agency in California.
USA – 19 June 2018 – EasyMile, in partnership with Contra Costa Transportation Authority, GoMentum Station, Stantec, First Transit and Bishop Ranch, has been awarded the CTF Transportation Awards Advanced Technology Program of the Year for their Shared Autonomous Vehicle Program in 2017 at GoMentum Station and Bishop Ranch.
NORWAY – 12 June 2018 – Norway’s first autonomous shuttle, the EasyMile’s EZ10 driverless shuttle, started public operation in mixed traffic in Forus. The EZ10 runs on a 1.2 km route on regular intervals in an area consisting of 3,500 employees and 40.000 working places, improving the connection between the workplaces and public transportation.
BELGIUM – EasyMile, in a partnership with Vlaams Instituut voor de Logistiek (VIL), Fraunhofer IML, ACP and the city of Mechelen, collaborated in a joint project called “ALEES – Autonomous Logistics Electric EntitieS for city distribution” to
